Rendering medical help to citizens of foreign countries:
To execute the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 25.08.2006 «On insurance activities» chapter 13, paragraph 207 «when entering the Republic of Belarus, foreign citizens are obliged to have the contract of obligatory medical insurance concluded with Belarusian insurance organization or the contract of medical insurance concluded with a foreign insurance organization in case of rendering medical emergency service to them by medical institutions».
The presence of the contract of obligatory medical insurance is confirmed by the presence of insurance policy.
Medical emergency service is provided to foreign citizens on the grounds of insurance policy.
In case of insurance policy absence, payment to a medical institution for medical services and related transportation services is made at the expense of foreign citizens or the sending (inviting) side.
If a foreign citizen is a constant resident of the Republic of Belarus and has a constant residence permit, medical help is rendered to him/her as to the citizens of the Republic of Belarus.

Medical emergency service is provided to foreign citizens on the grounds of insurance policy.
Citizens of Argentina, Brazil, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Jordan, Lebanon, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina are not subject to obligatory medical insurance as foreign citizens of the countries in which similar conditions regarding citizens of the Republic of Belarus are provided on mutual basis. That is, medical emergency service is provided to them free of charge, and routine medical care is paid.
